THE EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT AT THE CENTRE MÉDICO-CHIRURGICAL FLORÉAL IS OPEN 24 HOURS A DAY, EVERY DAY OF THE YEAR, TO RECEIVE AND TREAT THE SICK AND INJURED WHO PRESENT THEMSELVES OR ARE BROUGHT IN BY THE EMERGENCY SERVICES.

• 24-hour presence of an emergency doctor
• Paramedical staff on duty 24 hours a day (reception and orientation nurse, care assistants)
• Medical and surgical specialists available 24 hours a day in case of need for medical or surgical hospitalisation on site (Orthopaedics, Digestive, Urology, Anaesthetics, Cardiology, Oncology, etc.)
• Premises and equipment adapted to and dedicated exclusively to emergency services
• Networking with other establishments to ensure referral or transfer, if necessary.

The missions of the emergency department

• To receive people presenting in an emergency situation, without selection, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week,
• Provide care for all and refer patients to a specialised service appropriate to the health problem presented.
• Rapidly implement diagnostic, treatment and therapeutic monitoring procedures, which should not exceed a few hours.

Waiting times

• Our establishment makes every effort to reduce waiting times in the emergency department.
• The order of arrival does not determine the priority of care.
• Serious or life-threatening emergencies must be dealt with immediately and in the best possible way.
• Remember that you will only be kept waiting if your condition allows it. If you feel that your condition, or that of the person you are accompanying, is worsening or changing, do not hesitate to inform the nursing staff immediately.

Our Emergency Department is approved by the Agence Régionale de Santé (ARS).
