Your discharge

Discharge formalities are carried out at the admissions office, located in the reception hall on the ground floor of the establishment, between 11am and 12pm from Monday to Saturday. If you are due to be discharged on a Sunday or public holiday, please go to the admissions office on Saturday morning between 11am and 12pm to complete the discharge formalities. The date and time of discharge are set by your surgeon or the doctor who treated you in the hospital. In all cases, you must go to the admissions office in order to :

• Check and, if necessary, complete your administrative file.
• Pay the daily rate if it is not covered by your mutual insurance company.
• Pay the various supplements for which you are responsible.
• Collect a status report.

If you are not covered at 100%, you will receive an invoice for the amount paid.

What happens next?

• If your state of health, as confirmed by a medical prescription, requires transport by ambulance or light medical vehicle to your home or to a convalescent or rest facility, please contact the nurse on your ward.
• If you wish to take a taxi when you leave the hospital, our receptionist can contact them, although you will have to pay the taxi fares yourself (note: these costs may be reimbursed if prescribed by your doctor).
