If you do not have insurance or cannot prove your entitlement, you will be given an estimate. You will be asked to pay a deposit on the day of your arrival, which will be applied to the total cost of your stay. A final invoice will be issued on the day you leave.
If you are a citizen of a country outside the European Union, please contact your private insurance company.
On the day of your admission, you must go to the admissions office with the following documents:
- Your completed and signed pre-admission form,
- Photo identification (national identity card, passport, resident's card, etc.),
- Your "carte vitale" or up-to-date certificate of entitlement,
- Your health insurance or supplementary insurance card,
- Your 100% certificate if you are a beneficiary,
- A deposit cheque for hospital stays.
When you are admitted, please bring your biological and radiological tests as well as your current
current prescriptions.
Please note that if you do not complete these formalities, your admission may be delayed.
If you are concerned :
- Your certificate of entitlement to CMU (Couverture Médicale Universelle) or your AME card (Aide Médicale
de l'État).
- In the event of an accident at work: the accident at work form issued by your employer.
- Your carnet de soins gratuits (for veterans).
- If you are a national of an EU country: the European Health Insurance Card or form E112.
- If you are a national of Algeria: form SE 352.
- If you are not covered by a health insurance scheme or if you are a national of a country that does not have an agreement with France, you will have to pay the cost of your treatment.

Minors and protected adults
The person(s) with parental authority must sign the authorisation to carry out care and procedures
in the pre-admission booklet. Their presence is compulsory during the stay (decree of 17/01/74).
For minors, please bring the identity cards of both parents and the family record book.
If the refusal of treatment by the person with parental authority or the guardian leads to serious consequences for the health of the person concerned, the patient will be informed.

YOUR IDENTITY = YOUR SAFETY
As part of the rules on identity monitoring, in accordance with article L162-21 of the French Social Security Code, we ask you to identify yourself to us.

These are not reimbursed by the Assurance Maladie, but may be covered by your mutuelle or complementary health insurance. Ask your health insurance company for details. Fixed hospital charge: €20 per day (including the day of discharge)
The fixed hospital charge represents your financial contribution to the accommodation and maintenance costs incurred by your hospitalisation. It is payable for each day of hospitalisation, including the day of discharge. It does not apply to outpatient stays. The amount of the fixed hospital charge is set by ministerial decree.
Fixed contribution: €24 per stay
Preserving the social security system is everyone's business and, in principle, you contribute to it for each of your healthcare expenses. The part of the cost that remains payable by you is known as the "fixed contribution" or "co-payment".
The flat-rate contribution of €24 applies to procedures costing €120 or more. You may be asked to pay a co-payment for any procedure under €120.
You may not be billed for any costs other than those corresponding to the care provided or, where applicable, to any special requirements you may have requested. The amount of these special requirements, the list of which is strictly defined by the regulations and includes in particular access to a private room, must be communicated to you before the treatment is carried out.
